Jim and Marie Smith founded NEP Glass Co. Ltd. in 1985 with the goal of bringing the best in glazing contracting to commercial clients. NEP Glass started small with two glaziers and worked primarily as a subcontractor for businesses. The balance of sales were primarily residential, where custom mirror installation, replacement windows, custom shower enclosures and glass replacement were performed.
Over the past fifteen years the company has become a prime contractor on larger projects involving architectural aluminum window systems, curtain walls, metal wall panels and custom skylights. During peak construction season, NEP has up to 30 employees. NEP offers a diverse group of products to both architects and owners for projects involving custom window systems, curtain wall, skylights, aluminum and FRP door systems and specialty glass.
